Terms & Conditions

All polishes are handmixed in small batches to ensure a premium product in every bottle. Recipes are kept consistent, however, due to the handmixed nature there may be slight colour differences between batches.

Polishes contain high-quality cosmetic grade ingredients, legally permitted for sale in the UK/EU, and are compliant with Cosmetic Regulation EC 1223/2009. Hollie Mixture retains full Cosmetic Safety Product Reports (CSPRs) for polishes created.


Returns & cancellation

Cancellations, exchanges and returns  cannot be accepted due to hygiene reasons. If you are not happy with your purchase please get in touch via the contact form within 14 days of delivery.

If goods are faulty please take photos and send your order number along with your comments via the contact form. Refunds for broken items cannot be provided without photographic proof.

Customised items are not eligible for return unless faulty.

A refund or replacement is not possible where the customer has changed their mind.

You must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement via the contact form, prior to the cancellation period expiring. The cancellation period expires 14 days after receiving your goods. If you use this option, we will communicate to you by an acknowledgment of receipt of such a cancellation by email without delay.  Cancellations are only accepted where the product is faulty or broken. 

Return costs are the responsibility of the customer. This can be arranged for you, however, the cost of return will be deducted from any reimbursement. 

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods. The cost is estimated at a maximum of approximately £7.00 GBP.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

 

Changes to orders

Once the payment has been taken, changes can no longer be made to orders. You may have 24 hours from placing your order to make any changes – please use the contact form with your order number and the subject line “order change”. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct delivery address, once the parcel has been handed to the delivery service changes cannot be made.

If you have made a mistake in your order and more than 24 hours has elapsed, please get in touch and we will try to reach a solution. The requested changes cannot always be made if goods are in transit.

 

Complaints

Hollie Mixture is a one-woman owned and operated small business, fuelled by the love of polish and UK indies. The aim is to provide positive and timely service and responses to any issues or complaints that you have. Please be understanding of minor delays. All communications are aimed to be responded to within 2 business days.

It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations, please get in touch via the contact form.
